EMMA ON STYLE & CONFIDENCE AT HENLEY LITERARY FESTIVAL
As we evolve, so does the way we dress. With our cleverly designed capsule collection, building an intentional wardrobe that moves with you through life's seasons feels effortless, year after year, with every piece working beautifully together.
This philosophy was at the heart of our week in Henley. Each chapter encourages us to welcome today with versatile layers and evergreen styles that transition from one chapter to the next.
Building wardrobes
The foundations
We’re always inspired by the different ways you make each piece your own. Whether it’s layering for the changing seasons or discovering new combinations, we love seeing how our collection becomes part of your everyday life.
That’s why our recent in-store event was so special, as we welcomed many of you for a relaxed conversation with our founder, Emma. She shared her thoughts on the connection between style and confidence and on building a wardrobe as adaptable as life itself, with pieces you can wear and return to again and again.
“Henley Literary Festival is always a highlight on the Busby & Fox calendar. It is a privilege to play a part in such a well-attended, respected event and to feel the buzz it brings to the town.
This year we were proud to sponsor the event and I was thrilled to join a panel of inspiring women to talk about all things Midlife: The Full Story. It was also a joy to host our wonderful event in-store and share my tips and tricks during Building Wardrobes: The Foundations.
It is incredibly exciting to see our community grow as we make new friends and reconnect with old ones. Our beautiful Henley store is the perfect setting for conversation, styling and a shared love of what we do.”

Midlife: THE FULL STORY
The conversation continued at Henley Literary Festival, where Emma joined a fabulous panel for Midlife: The Full Story.
Alongside Radio 4 comedian Lucy Porter (Middle-Aged Women Get Sh*t Done), author Poorna Bell (She Wanted More) and novelist Alex Kadis (Big Nobody), Emma reflected on the realities of keeping everything moving through this stage of life and retraced Busby & Fox's story from a single shop in Totnes to fifteen beautiful stores and counting in just over a decade.
